How the ranking is made, and how to check it.
Who publishes it
Ranking my own app is a conflict of interest, so the site is built to be checked rather than trusted: every judged input lists its basis, every formula and weight is published, and every fact links to its source. You can re-weight the ranking on the home page.
How the ranking is made
Scores come from a published model. Facts come from app store listings, developer websites and dated reviews. Where a score needs judgment, the input and its basis are listed on the methodology page. No score is adjusted by hand.
Money
No app pays to be listed or ranked, and there are no affiliate links. Store links are plain links.
What we didn't test
Screen times are modeled, not timed on devices. Features count only when an app documents them publicly, so an app may do more than its listing says.
